When Can I Expect To See The Results of a reGro™ Hair Transplant?

When Can I Expect To See The Results of a reGro™ Hair Transplant?

Jump To

Curious how soon you’ll notice changes after your reGro™ hair transplant? While some improvements are visible early on, full results take time. Hair grows in phases and so does your transplant journey. Here's a breakdown of what to expect in the months after your procedure.

Hair Transplant Recovery Timeline

Stage 1: Immediate Changes (Day 1 Post-Procedure)

Right after the procedure, you'll see the placement of your transplanted follicles. While this can be an exciting and emotional moment, it’s just the beginning of your journey.

Stage 2: Early Growth (2 Weeks Post-Procedure)

In the first couple of weeks, you may notice new hairs starting to emerge. This is a normal stage of the growth cycle. Some mild redness or sensitivity may still be present.

Stage 3: Shedding Phase (4–5 Weeks)

It’s common for transplanted hairs to shed around this time. This is part of the natural cycle and not a cause for concern. The follicles remain intact under the skin and are preparing to regrow stronger strands.

Stage 4: Visible Growth (3–4 Months)

By this stage, many people begin to notice early regrowth. Hair may appear finer initially, gradually thickening over time. This is when the transplant begins to take shape.

Stage 5: Increased Density (4–6 Months)

Hair continues to grow and thicken. You may begin experimenting with new styles as density improves. The results will keep evolving in the months ahead.

Stage 6: Full Results (6–12 Months)

For most people, significant improvement is seen between 6–9 months, with full results typically achieved by 12 months. Individual results vary based on factors like hair growth cycles and post-procedure care.
