Dr Adam Cho is a hair transplant doctor and Gro's Medical Director, a role he stepped into after joining the team in 2019. A Fellow of the Faculty of Medicine of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr Cho has a special interest in both medical and aesthetic hair restoration.

He believes in a long-term approach - focused on trying to achieve sustainable results. With over a decade of experience in clinical governance, risk management and medical leadership, Dr Cho has helped shape Gro's high standards of care.

As Medical Director, he aims to lead with a focus on safety, clinical success, and patient outcomes - mentoring doctors and guiding the team. He brings a hands-on approach and a special interest in the hair restoration journey.

Dr Anwar Al-Abedi is a medical practitioner with a background in emergency medicine and a special interest in cosmetic procedures. Drawn to hair restoration, he has focused on delivering results to his patients.

Dr Al-Abedi trained in the United States under a program endorsed by the International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), learning from global leaders in the field. He also completed Gro's intensive academy program, refining his knowledge and technique. Since joining Gro, he has performed many procedures and is driven to support his clients.

Dr. Ballantyne (MBBS, Melbourne University, 2008) is a highly experienced and sought after FUE transplant specialist. With over 4 years dedicated hair transplant experience, he has positioned himself at the forefront of the industry in combining precision and artistry with technology.

At his home clinic on the Gold Coast, he stays on top of the latest innovations and advances in AI in order to set the new standard of hair transplant surgery in Australia. His special interest is coupling AI advances with key metrics to achieve longer lasting exceptional results, often with fewer grafts required than other surgeons.

Dr. Diana Phan is a highly skilled expert in hair restoration and non-surgical cosmetic procedures, known for her innate ability to assess and design the best cosmetic outcomes. With her keen eye for detail and medical expertise, she creates personalised, natural results that enhance her patients' unique features.

Dr. Phan is proficient in the latest FUE techniques. Her meticulous approach ensures that each follicle is placed with precision, blending seamlessly with existing hair for long-lasting, natural results.
Dr. Phan is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care, focusing on delivering treatments that help her patients look and feel their best, always with an emphasis on achieving natural, harmonious outcomes.

Dr Gamze is a qualified medical practitioner with a special interest in procedural medicine and patient-first results. She holds a medical degree from The University of Melbourne, along with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science.

She later completed a Master of Surgery at The University of Sydney and was accepted into the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons general training program in 2023. Over the past eight years, she has worked across major hospital units in plastic, general, orthopaedic, paediatric and urological care - refining her clinical skills and attention to detail.

Dr Jack Yeoman is a medical practitioner with a special interest in hair restoration and male aesthetics. He is known for his attention to detail and his focus on delivering a positive patient experience through carefully planned, personalised treatment approaches.

Dr Yeoman has experience performing Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplant procedures and has trained in a range of modern techniques both in New Zealand and internationally. His approach focuses on thoughtful planning and natural-looking outcomes tailored to each individual.

As part of Gro’s doctor-led clinical team, Dr Yeoman works closely with nurses and assistants to deliver hair restoration procedures with a strong focus on precision, patient care, and individual treatment planning.

Dr. Hisham is a qualified medical practitioner, with a special interest in Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and has worked in Orthopaedics, Plastics, and Reconstruction surgery. Dr. Khalid aims to deliver personalised, sustainable results.

His forward-thinking approach aims to consider not only current client needs but also future hair loss, to hopefully offer tailored care to each patient's unique needs.

Dr Leo Chong (MCNZ 75673) is a New Zealand–trained medical practitioner who graduated from the University of Auckland in 2017 and is an ACC-accredited health provider in New Zealand. With a clinical background in orthopaedics and trauma care, he brings strong procedural precision and attention to detail to hair restoration.

Since joining Gro in early 2024, Dr Chong has focused on hair transplant procedures as part of Gro’s doctor-led clinical team at the Auckland clinic. He takes a careful and considered approach to treatment planning, with a strong focus on natural hairline design and outcomes tailored to each patient’s facial features, hair characteristics, and long-term goals.

Committed to patient safety and clear communication, Dr Chong prioritises providing transparent information about treatment options, the procedure, and aftercare so patients can make well-informed decisions about their care.

Dr Muchi is a qualified medical practitioner with a global medical background, having trained in the United Kingdom and worked across Australia, the UK, UAE, India and South America.

With a special interest in hair restoration, Dr Muchi combines technical skill with personalised outcomes. He is trained in Gro's Precise Follicle Placement (PFP) technique and is a substantive member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), regularly attending global conferences to stay at the forefront of the field. He aims to help clients feel supported and informed.

Dr Kristy Truong graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. in 2012. She is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Australian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, and has completed advanced fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

She undertook highly selective specialist residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. This training included extensive experience in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and facial aesthetic procedures. She then completed additional dedicated fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery through the University of North Carolina, further refining her focus on facial aesthetics and reconstruction.

Following her training, Dr Truong pursued her passion for the cosmetic field in Perth. She performs hair restoration procedures, injectables, and skin cancer reconstruction, with a particular focus on hair and brow transplants and hairline lowering. Dr Truong has also undertaken additional training with leading international experts in the field of hair restoration, supporting her ongoing  commitment to maintaining high clinical standards across all aspects of hair restoration practice.
